About the Client
Volk Optical is the leading brand manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses, diagnostic imaging, and surgical products for the ophthalmic industry. They serve a global community reaching more than 100 countries and supporting eye health worldwide. They needed our help to continue with their graphic and print design efforts during a period of continued business growth.
The Challenge
The initial challenge we faced was to understand their brand, learn how they function as a team, and to quickly get a good grasp on the products they manufacture. Volk needed a team to step in and take charge of their print design without missing a beat.
Using their existing visual identity established from other pieces, we maintained consistency with every piece over the course of the project. We also helped establish a more definitive direction for future design work.
Printed Leave-Behinds
Volk leave behinds are important to physicians because it’s an effective sales tool providing accurate and consistent information about new medical equipment. In this case, the ophthalmology professional is able to present their patients with new and improved options with the goal leading to better patient outcomes and overall satisfaction.
Our work featured a number of 2-sided print pieces printed full color with full bleeds, and delivered on 100–120 lb. matte stock.
